Moose Jaw Visit

We had a bit of a late start this year with our roadside attraction viewing, but we decided to go to the most Notorious City in Canada... namely Moose Jaw, and see the sites along the way. Little did we suspect that the surrounding area would have so much more to see.

By the list of attractions below you can see the number of sites were staggering. We took in a Moose Jaw Miller Express Baseball Game at Ross Wells Park, an evening game that was great to watch ending in a Moose Jaw loss with a 12-11 score. We also went to the Western Development Museum, we had just done the Western Aviation Museum in Winnipeg and the WDM out matched it by a mile.

We went for the Chicago Connection Tunnel tour, quite theatrical and fun to partake. The City trolley tour was neat as it talked about many of the facets of Moose Jaw from days gone by.

Add to this the plethora of road side attractions from the small towns we drove through, like the wooden sculptures of Fort Qu'Appelle. Truly a worthwhile trip.
