My Pilgrimage to Bovington

by

Recently, Elizabeth and I went on a trip to Europe to see a bit of England, Scotland and take a train to visit relatives in Germany. I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to go to "The Tank Museum" in Bovington, England.

We took a train from Victoria Station London to the small town of Wool and did the short hike to the museum. I purposely did not go to YouTube and look through the many "Reviews" done by other people, wanting to be as un-jaded as possible.

I was not disappointed. The vehicles on display ranged from the obscure to the common, all displayed and documented with an incredible level of detail. They had displays for military operations thank had tanks in most conflicts to give information on their operational use. They also included first hand accounts by soldier for some operation in a compelling video displays.

I have included a few pictures by some of my favorite vehicles and displays.
