Slow-Cooker Salsa Chicken

I found this recipe on the back of a old can of mushroom soup.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
  • 1 cup salsa ( mild or medium ).
  • 1/2 package taco seasoning (reduced sodium optional).
  • 1 can reduced fat cream of mushroom soup (condensed).
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (reduced fat optional).

Directions

  1. Mix taco seasoning, salsa and soup in slow cooker.
  2. Add chicken to slow cooker.
  3. Stir, so that chicken is coated with mix.
  4. Cook on low for 6 hours.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
  6. Serve with rice.
