The A&E 2020 Summer Trips (Part 3)
Today we continue with our on-going adventure of seeing the road-side attractions in South Central Manitoba.
We started out with a few sites in Winnipeg before driving west on the Trans Canada. While driving through the Long Plain First Nations urban reserve we stumbled on a site not mentioned by most Road Side Attraction Lists online... till now.
Gladstone Bakery & Eatery supplied fantastic Cinnamon Buns... I can't say more than that.
The area from Austin to Holland on Highway 34 South, turned out to be hidden gem of rolling hills with lush green farm fields.

Here is the list of places we saw:
- Winnipeg - Lockheed T-33 Silver Star Jet Trainer
- St Francis Xavier - White Horse
- Portage la Prairie - Grey Owl Statue
- Portage la Prairie - World's Largest Coca-Cola Can
- Portage la Prairie - Eagle in a Tree
- Gladstone - Happy Rock
- Austin - Steam Tractor of Canadian Progress
- Holland - Windmill
- Treherne - Glass Bottle Houses
- St. Claude - World's Largest Smoking Pipe
- Elm Creek - World's (2nd) Largest Fire Hydrant
Here is the pictures of each of the locations...
