Frostgrave: Well of Dream and Sorrows

With the COVID-19 numbers dropping {when we first started talking about running the game} in Manitoba, Norm threw out the idea of starting up his Frostgrave campaign again. He had been making a hoard of 28mm terrain for the games, and wanted a chance to use it.

Below is a picture of the terrain he had made for the game {some unpainted but looking good} . The scenario was from the Frostgrave: Volume One book called The Well of Dream and Sorrows.

The game involved Norm, JR and myself. I was bringing in a new Illusionist named Blinky.... I thought I would leverage the Teleport and Glow spells heavily with him.

I brought in my usual collection of henchmen, 4 x Archers and a Knight. Thinking this would be enough for my first excursion... I could not have been more wrong...

By the time the game ended I had a dead Wizard and Apprentice.
